Virtual colonoscopy is an advanced axial tomography application (CT scan) which allows us to visualize the inside of the colon in 3 dimensions. It is used for colorectal cancer screening and can detect more than 90% of polyps. The exam is non-invasive, comfortable, painless, and requires no sedation, which allows you to return to your duties immediately after the exam.
